Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh is planning to take up construction of 400 kV DC (TM) 100 km line from the existing 400/220 kV Vemagiri substation to the proposed 400/200 kV Kamavarapukota substation (Zone-5) in Andhra Pradesh. As of May 2015, bids have been invited to execute the project on turnkey basis.
