Government of Meghalaya, Power Department has reported progress on its upcoming Ganol Small Hydro Project implemented in Chibragre, around 15 km from Tura, in West Garo Hills. As of May 2015, Excavation work has started and the drawings of other infrastructures of the project are also being finalized.
