Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board is planning to take up Construction of 2.5 MW R&D Hybrid Project (2MW Solar PV + 0.5MW Wind with 1 MWh Battery Storage) at Kaza in Lahaul District of Himachal Pradesh. As of May 2015, environment clearance for the project is underway.
