MITC Rolling Mill is planning expand its steel products unit in Maharashtra. The project involves setting up a new rolling mill for Billets and Bars and expanding the MS ingots capacity. The plant will use MS Scrap, Sponge iron, MS Billets in moltent state as main raw materials. As of June 2015, environment clearance for the project is underway.
