Rajasthan State Mines & Minerals is planning to establish a gypsum mine with a production capacity of 3.0 million TPA. As of June 2015, the company has sought a mining lease (ML) area of 1122 hectares (non-forest land) located at villages, Bhadwasi, Makodi, Bhadana and Manzwas in the Nagaur district. The company will adopt fully opencast mechanized mining, without drilling and blasting for the project.
