Ministry of Power is planning to take up Sipat Power Transmission Project to evacuate power from Sipat STTP in Chhattisgarh. As of July 2015, the process of selecting the developer is underway. About 5 developers namely PGCIL, Adani Power, JPL, SGL and KPTL have been short-listed. PFC Consulting, the arm of Power Grid Corp is the nodel agency for selecting the developer.
