HP Ore Processors is planning to install Beneficiation plant for low grade iron ore of the beneficiated Iron Ore. Company will be procure iron ore fines having Fe 40% – 56%, from Jabalpur & Katni Districts. Through beneficiation process, the iron content shall be increased to about 61% + for Blast Furnace grade & >64% for DRI grade Pellets. As of July 2015, environment clearance for the project is underway.
