LLM Appliances, a Butterfly Group of companies is setting up a strategic business at the premises of Salem Steel Plant (SSP) to manufacture stainless steel utensils, kitchenware and tableware. Appliances would produce monthly about 15-20 tonnes of products using SSP raw material. Later, it would be scaled to 40 tonnes a month.As of July 2015, the company has signed an MoU with SAIL for setting up the unit.
