Ministry of Road Transport & Highways is planning to take up widening & strengthening of existing two-lane carriageway to four lane with paved shoulder of Harike-Zira-Faridkot section of NH-15 (New NH-54) from existing km 166.925 to km 221.380 including construction of Zira, Talwandi & Mudki bypasses in Punjab. As of August 2015, MoRTH has invited bids for executing the project on EPC basis under NHDP Phase - IV.
