National Mineral Development Corporation has decided to set up its 6.0 million tpa integrated steel plant project in West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand. As of August 2015, the company is zeroing in on the area for the required 3,000 acres of land for the proposed plant. Final decision on acquisition is expected shortly.
