Welspun Energy has reported progress on its 20 MW wind energy project at Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. As of May 2013, the project achieved financial closure. It may be mentioned that the company has already signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation.
