'Karnataka Public Works Department is planning to take up upgradation of road from Haveri (NH-4) to Hangal from Km 0.00 to Km 31.784 of SH-2 in the state of Karnataka, which is a part of Karnataka State Highways Improvement Project. As of December 2012, bids have been invited.
