NTPC-SAIL Power Company is setting up a 2 x 20 MW Captive power plant III at SAIL's Durgapur Steel Plant complex in West Bengal. The coal requirement will be 0.3 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) and will be sourced from SAIL's Ramnagore Captive Coal mine. As of October 2015, the project has received environment clearance.
