Power Grid Corporation of India has reported progress on its 6000 MW HVDC (high voltage direct current) link between two states Chhattisgarh and Haryana which is being developed in 4 phases. the first pole of 1,500 MW (phase) will be operationalised next year and the remaining three poles of 1,500 MW each will be completed by March 2017. As of October 2015, the project is under implementation.
