Kudremukh Iron Ore Company is planning to set up a pellet plants at Nemalkal and Hiradahalu villages in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh jointly with APMDC. Both APMDC and KIOCL would jointly explore the mines having magnetite deposits of 40 million tonne. As of August 2015, the project is under implementation.
