Jakson Engineer is setting up a 10 MW solar power project at Visakhapatnam Port area for Visakhapatnam Port Trust. The project involves setting up solar panels over 50 acres of port land adjacent to the runway, where no construction is allowed. The site was identified by the experts of Solar Energy Corporation of India. As of November 2015, the contract has just been awarded to Jakson Engineer.
