Other Details : National Highways Authority of India has reported progress on its Ghoshpukur-Gossainpur-Falakata-Salsabari road project in West Bengal. The project envisages four-laning of Ghoshpukur-Gossainpur-Falakata-Salsabari section from 551.566 km of NH-31, 0.000 km to 147.000 km of NH-31D and 225.000 km to 228.000 km of NH-31C in West Bengal, NHAI is implementing the project under NHDP Phase-II on BOT (Annuity) on DBFOT basis. As of May 2013, the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has given clearance to the project.
