'West Bengal State Electricity Transmission is planning to take up setting up a transmission line project in West Bengal. The project involves setting up a 132 kV D/C transmission line from Coochbehar substation to Mathabhanga substation (route length 47 km) & Moinaguri substation to Mathabhanga substation (route length 55 km) in the state of West Bengal. As of December 2012, the company has invited bids for design and construction of tower foundations, erection, stringing, testing and commissioning of the transmission line on turnkey basis.
