Arya Integrated Steel is planning to set up an Integrated Steel Plant in Keonjhar district of Orissa. The project involves setting up a plant with facilities such as 1X1.8 MTPA Throughput Iron Ore Beneficiation Plant, 2X1.2 MTPA Iron Ore Pellet Plant, 9 No. of Producer Gas Plant of capacity 4,500 Nm3/hr each (total 40,500 NM3/hr), 0.3 MTPA Integrated Steel Plant (HGPIN Plant -0.3 MTPA; SMS-0.3 MTPA; Rolling Mill-0.2 MTPA) to manufacture 0.3 MTPA High Grade Pure Iron Nuggets, 0.3 MTPA M.S. Billets and 0.2 MTPA TMT Rods/ Structurals. As of May 2013, the project has received clearance from the ministry of environment and forests.
