KB Sponge Iron is planning to take up an expansion programme at its MS Ingots / Billets plant located at Fairdpur in Bradhman district of West Bengal. The project involves installing two numbers of induction furnaces and a continuous caster milling machine. As of November 2015, the project is awaiting environment clearance.
