Mideast Integrated Steel is planning to expand its steel manufacturing capacity in The project involves increasing the steel making capacity from 1.0 mtpa at present to 3.5 million tonne per annum (mtpa) in two phases. As of November 2015, the company is in the process of getting final environment clearance for the project.
