Tripura State Electricity Corporation of India is planning to take up Construction of 132 kV D/C Transmission Line from Udaipur(Banduar) (Gumti district, Tripura) to Amarpur (Gumti district,Tripura) under NERPSIP project. The proposed 132 kV D/C transmission Line from Udaipur to Amarpur Line is a part of the NERPSIP Project. Since the line passes through the Barmura-Dewatamura, it unavoidably passes through Dewatamura RF areas as the same lie across the route. As of November 2015, environment clearance for the project is underway.
