Rail Vikas Nigam is planning to take up Construction of electrified 3rd Railway line between Barkhera (excluding) KM 789.430 – Budni (excluding) KM 770.040 alongside existing Down (West Side) Railway line on Bhopal Division of West Central Railway in the State of Madhya Pradesh. As of December 2015, the forest clearance for the project is awaited.
