Bhatia International is planning to take up an expansion programme at its Coal washery in Nagpur district of Maharashtra. The project involves expansion of 1.5 MTPA Coal Washery unit to 4.0 MTPA Coal Washery unit . There is the requirement of only raw coal and water which will be available from Gondegaon WCL mines. The washed coal will be dispatched from the Railway siding. As of December 2015, environment clearance for the project is underway.
