NMDC is planning to construct a rapid loading system with a capacity of 14 mtpa with a merry go round railway track.. The proposed 140-km Rowghat-Jagdalpur rail line will be developed in joint venture with Chhattisgarh government, SAIL and IRCON. As of December 2015, the project is under implementation.
