Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation (Keltron) is setting up a 3-MW grid tie canal top solar PV plant at Barapole in Kannur district of Kerala. The project is being developed for Kerala State Electricity Board . As of January 2016, Keltron has just bagged the contract from KSEB for installation, testing and commissioning of the solar power plant.
