Government of Kerala is planning to take up construction of four-lane access controlled corridor that will link Chakkaraparambu on Palarivattom-Vyttila NH Bypass with Seaport Airport Road. The 4 kms roads is expected to cost Rs.4120 million. The first phase of the project will be executed in between Seaport-Airport Road and Arakkakadavu on Vennala-Eroor Road. As of January 2016, land acquisition for the project is underway.
