Kochi Salem Pipeline, a JV of IOC and BPCL is planning to lay a 12" 42 km LPG pipeline from puthuvypeen to Kochi refinery where it will be connected to the proposed pipeline from kochi refinery to Kerala border connecting Udhayamperoor. The new pipeline will be 12” in dia and of X 60 grade. As of January 2016, environment clearance for the project is underway.
