Jharkhand Urja Sancharan Nigam is planning to set up a New Power Transmission Project in Ranchi. The project involves Construction of 132 kV D/C Jadugora- Dhalbhumgarh Transmission Line is a part of State Power Corridor and shall evacuate power to benefit power situation in Ghatsila Sub Division in the East Singhbhum District. As of February 2016, Forest clearance for the project is under way.
