Manipur State Power Company is planning to take up New Power Transmission Project in Imphal West. The project involves onstruction and Stringing of 132 KV Transmission line from Kakching to Moreh (length-41.13 km). This 132 KV line from Kakching to Moreh is constructed for giving power supply to 132/33 KV s/s at Moreh and associated 33/11 KV s/s at Moreh & Tengnoupal. As of February 2016, Forest clearance for the project is underway.
