National Highways Authority of India is planning to take up four laning of Solan-Kaithlighat section of NH-22 (Now NH-5) from km 106.139 to km 129.05 under NHDP Phase-III in the state of Himachal Pradesh with an investment of Rs.4787.4 million. As of February 2016, NHAI has invited bids to execute the project on EPC basis.
