IL&FS Transportation Networksis planning to take up widening of road project in the States of Jharkhand and West Bengal. The project involves f six-laning of Barwa-Adda-Panagarh Section of NH-2 from km 398.240 to km 521.120 including Panagarh Bypass in the states of Jharkhand and West Bengal under NHDP Phase V on DBFOT Basis. A new company in the style of Barwa Adda Expressway Limited has been floated to execute the project. As of May 2013, the company signed a Concession Agreement with National Highways Authority of India for the project.
