Government of Uttarakhand is planning to set up a textile park jontly with a private sector partner. The Park is to come up over 100 acre of land in the Kashipur-Jaspur area of the Kumaon region in Uttarakhand. As of May 2013, the government is expected to float expressions of interest for to identify the private sector developer for the proposed textile park
