'India Glycols is planning to set up an ethanol in lignocellulosic biomass pilot plant in Uttarakhand. Lignocellulosic Biomass Pilot Plant (10 MTPD) will produce 3 KLPD ethanol. Technology is sponsored by DBT-ICT Centre for energy biosciences, MumbaiAs of May 2013, the project has received clearance from the ministry of environment and forests.
