'National Thermal Power Corp is planning to take up capacity augmentation of 500 MW (Stage IV) coal-based thermal power plant at Feroz Gandhi Unchahar thermal power station at Raebareli district, in Uttar Pradesh. As of May 2013, the project has been accorded environment clearance.
