'Central Coalfields is planning to expand its capacity at its Tetariakhar OCP, located in North Karanpura.The project involves expanding the capacity of its Tetariakhar open cast coal mine from 0.5 million tpa to two million tpa (normative), and two and half million tpa (peak). As of May 2013, Ministry of Environment & Forests (MoEF) has given its clearance for the project.
