'J K Tyres and Industries is planning yo expand its tyres capacity in its mysore plant. Earlier, the company had proposed to increase the capacity to 800,000 tyres per annum from 367,000 tyres at an estimated cost of Rs.3150 million. Subsequently, the company revised its expansion programme to a capacity of 1.06 million tyres at an additional Rs 1560 million investment and submitted a fresh proposal to the state high-level clearance committee to consider it as a single expansion programme.
