Government of Odisha is planning to set up gas based power plants at Paradeep, Dhamra & costal belt of Odisha. The power plants will be based on the upcoming 5.0 million TPA LNG Terminal in Dhampra port. As of March 2016, Industrial Promotion and Investment Corporation of Odisha , on behalf of government of Odisha has invited expression of interest bids for setting up the projects.
