Ministry of Road Transport and Highways is planning to take up Upgradation of NH-31C from chainage 182 km (Hasimara) to 228 km (Salsalabari) to 2-lane with paved shoulder configuration in the district of Alipurduar, West Bengal. As of March 2016, bids have been invited to execute the project on EPC basis.
