Minister of Road Transport, Highways and Shipping is planning to take up Shipping, Nitin Gadkari, has laid the foundation stone for four-laning of the Demow to end of Moran bypass, Moran bypass to Bogibeel junctions near Lapatketa, Nagaon bypass to Rangapara and Rangapara to Kaliabhor Tinali sections of NH-37 spread over a length of 82.6 km in North East. As of March 2016, work on the project has commenced.
