National Aluminium Company is planning to set up a 0.5 mtpa smelter unit at Angul in Odisha. The raw material for the project, will come from Pottangi bauxite mines and Utkal D and E coal blocks. In addition to this, the company will spend close to 3000 million towards development of these mines.
