projects in Krishnapatnam is planning to double capacity. The complex currently houses two 1,320 MW supercritical coal-fired power plants ( Thermal Powertech Corporation India & NCC Power Projects, both belonging to Sembcorp Group. The existing land of 2,600 acres in which the power complex is located is sufficient for expansion. As of March 2016, the company is working on issues such as coal bidding and Power Purchase Agreements.
