UP New & Renewable Energy Development Agency is planning to set up a 5 MW (AC) solar photovoltaic plant in Nagle Girdhar village, Mhawan tehsil. As of March 2016, UPNEDA has invited bids for design, engineering, procurement & supply, erection, testing, commissioning and comprehensive operation & maintenance for five years of 5 MW Solar photovoltaic power project.
