AES India and Panasonic India are jointly planning to set up a 10 MW battery based energy storage project at Panasonic's Techno park manufacturing facility at Jhajjar in Haryana. The joint project would provide reliability and back-up to the manufacturing facility, while demonstrating grid stability and renewable integration services in the region. As of April 2016, both the companies have signed up a joint venture agreement for setting up the project.
