ReNew Power is planning to set up 40 MW power project in Ron district of Karnataka. As of April 2016, the company has awarded contract to Gamesa India for supply of 20 custom- made G 97 turbines with the total capacity of 40 MW. According to the contract, Gamesa will develop the entire infrastructure needed to operate the project including supply,erection and commissioning of the turbines. The project is to be commissioned in Sep 2016.
