Vedanta Group is planning to expand its second smelter at its aluminium smelter complex in Korba in Chhattisgarh. The project involves increasing the capacity of its second smelter at Korba to 0.5 mtpa. As of April 2016, the project is in the planning stage. The project is expected to be completed in April 2021.
