Aloke Steel Industries is planning to take up expansion of sponge iron plant located at Ramgarh district of Jharkhand. The proposed project involves installation of 360TPD Steel melting Shop with Continuous Billet Caster, 300TPD T.M.T Bars/Structural Section Rolling Mill, 18MW Captive Power Plant, 920 TPD lron Ore Crushing & Beneficiation plant and 55 TPD Slag Crushing Plant for SMS Slag. As of May 2016, environment clearance for the project is underway.
