Road Construction Department, Government of Bihar is planning to take up two−laning with paved shoulder from Poukhrauni Chowk to Junction with NH−57 near Jhanjharpur between 0.00 km to 28.00 km of NH−527A in Bihar. The project is estimated to cost Rs.873.6 million. As of May 2016, the Road Construction Department has invited bids for executing the project.
