Gerdau Steel India is planning to take up an expansion and debottlenecking project at its steel plant located in Tadipatri in Anantpur district of Andhra Pradesh. The project involves increasing the capacity of the steel plant from 3.0 million TPA to 5.0 millio TPA with an investment of Rs.10,000 million. As of May 2016, the project is in the planning stage. The expansion programme is to be completed before May 2018.
