Biocon is planning to set up a new pharma unit in Anekal, Karnataka. The proposed unit will manufacture injectables, monoclonal and anti-bodies vaccine. The project is estimated to cost Rs.10600 million. As of May 2016, the Karnataka government approved the investment proposal during the 44th state high level clearance committee meeting.
